Youth-Oriented Puzzle-Piece Diary (Digital A4 Base Layout)
Concept Overview
This is a digital diary designed for youth, built around the idea of puzzle pieces that represent each day of the week. The base is an A4-sized digital canvas that can hold 7 puzzle pieces—one for each day, Monday to Sunday.
How It Works
-
A4 Base Screen
-
The diary opens to a main A4-sized digital “board.”
-
This board contains space for 7 uniquely shaped puzzle slots.
-
-
Daily Puzzle Pieces
-
Each day of the week has its own puzzle piece.
-
Example: On Monday, the youth selects the Monday puzzle piece (Piece A1).
-
-
Writing the Diary Entry
-
The user taps Monday’s piece.
-
A text area appears where they can type their notes or thoughts for the day.
-
After typing, they press “Add to Base” to place the Monday puzzle piece on the A4 board.
-
-
Weekly Assembly
-
As each day passes, another puzzle piece can be filled in and added.
-
By Sunday, the diary base becomes a completed weekly puzzle, showing all 7 days’ entries.
-
-
Editing
-
At any time, youth can click on a placed day-piece to edit the text or change the piece’s position or style.
-
-
Weekly Planning Option (Organize Mode)
-
On Monday (or the start of their week), youth can switch to “Plan the Week” mode, where:
-
All 7 puzzle pieces appear empty.
-
They can drag and arrange them.
-
They can pre-write goals, reminders, or intentions for the upcoming days.
-
-
